Joseph Goldfuss Family in Baltimore, MD 1930
I found a Joseph Goldfuss on the April 3, 1930 census in Baltimore, Wd 5, Maryland. He was 60 years old, making 1870 the date of his birth and was born in Russia. He spoke Yiddish. He was a tinner contractor. His wife was Yettie, also 60 and from Nonmor, Russia. They paid $28 per month for their home. They lived on Rersterstown Rd. He's about the same age as my grandfather, Nathan Goldfoot, also from Russia. They must have come by a different route for Joseph to be living in Maryland and my grandfather to come to Oregon.
